Twenty-Sixth Edition: Berlin

Picture from Liquidrom

1. Study spot for this week, Milch und Zucker. This cafe is a 10 minute walk from the residence, with wifi, coffee and food - although keep in mind that studying is not allowed during lunch hours (12-2:30). Great place to study on cold or rainy days!

2. If you’re looking for a chill place to go, Cafe Luzia is a good choice. Its a loungy cafe-bar around a 10 minute walk from the residence, close to Kottbusser Tor. They sometimes host live music events so it’s worth checking out their facebook page if you’re interested as their website has very little information. Link: https://www.facebook.com/luziabar/

3. Liquidrom, a top recommendation on Atlas Obscura, is a blend of music and spa. On specific days DJs play techno, handpan or Christmas music in the “floating” pool creating a unique underwater music experience. While it lacks the relaxed nature of Korean spas (where you purchased a 12 hour entrance) there are still a range of saunas and pools to try out on your stricter timeline, as you have to pay per hour. It is also a mixed gender spa - so prepare for varying degrees of nudity. (2 hours, 20 euros) Link: https://www.liquidrom-berlin.de/en/therme-berlin.php
