Twenty-Second Edition: Berlin

Picture from "Museum of Extraordinary Objects"

  1. Study spot for this week, The Visit. Its just down the street, close to Kottbusser Tor, with wifi, coffee and great breakfast options! Not your cheapest cup of coffee (3 Euro Americano), but the atmosphere (plenty of work space & outlets) makes up for it.
  2. Looking for a delicious affordable meal? Go to Azzam. Prices start at from 1 euro (for flat bread with a range of toppings), 3.5 for wraps and a full plate of falafel and hallumi for 5 euros. All orders come with healthy servings of bread and salad.
  3. If you're finding it hard to leave the residence as it gets colder...it could be time to check out some museums. Fortunately you don’t have to go far -  the “Museum of Extraordinary Objects” is a mere 10 minute bike ride from the residence. It is described as Berlin's "most unusual museum", all the objects/contraptions on display deliberately without plaques. 10 euro entry
